Network intelligence

Every IP belongs to a bigger picture.

Look up public IPv4 and IPv6 registry records from ARIN, RIPE NCC, APNIC, LACNIC, and AFRINIC, plus reverse DNS and optional routing data.

The entered address is sent to the responsible regional Internet registry for registration data and to Cloudflare DNS for its reverse name. Private and special-use addresses are not supported. How data is used

Try an example:

Registration is not the same as routing

Regional Internet registries publish address allocations and assignments through RDAP. The appropriate registry is selected from IANA’s bootstrap data: ARIN, RIPE NCC, APNIC, LACNIC, or AFRINIC. Returned ranges can cover many addresses and many end users.

Routing data describes announced prefixes and their origin autonomous systems. The registered range can be larger than an announced route, and the registration name need not identify the actual service or person using one address.

Each source has its own result

Registration, reverse DNS, and optional routing checks can succeed or fail separately. Missing fields mean the source did not provide that field. A failed source is labelled unavailable; other successful data stays visible.

A registration country is administrative metadata, not IP geolocation. This tool cannot establish a household’s address, identify a user, validate a hostname’s trustworthiness, or determine whether a host is online.
